Gate.io News bot message, Bloomberg reported that U.S. President Trump clarified that he does not intend to remove The Federal Reserve (FED) Chairman Jerome Powell from office. Trump emphasized that this is the "perfect time" for a rate cut and urged Powell to take action "early or on time" instead of latency.

Previously, Trump criticized Powell in a post on the Truth Social platform, stating that he "should be fired as soon as possible." In response, the White House stated that the president is not formally considering dismissing Powell and is currently focused on advancing trade agreement negotiations.
