According to the latest estimates of OKG Research, the transaction size of key target groups in global personal remittances will be about 685 billion US dollars in 2024. At present, the annual settlement volume of stablecoins in fragmented scenarios such as B2B and card payments has reached about 50.8 billion US dollars, equivalent to about 7.4% of the core market, and has maintained a compound annual growth rate of more than 60% for two consecutive years. Against the backdrop of high fees, lagging clearing, and 1.4 billion unbanked people, Web3 payment products with Web2-level experience are accelerating their implementation. Compliance frameworks such as the GENIUS Act and the Hong Kong Stablecoin Ordinance have been established, and stablecoin payments are rapidly replacing traditional channels. OKG Research predicts that if this conservative growth rate continues, the cross-border settlement volume of stablecoins is expected to exceed $850 billion by 2030.
