The Governor of the Central Bank of South Korea will attend a bank dinner to discuss the topic of the won stablecoin.

According to Gate News bot, South Korea's Newsis reported that the Governor of the Central Bank of Korea, Lee Chang-yong, is scheduled to attend a bank president dinner at the Bank Hall in Seoul on June 23, where he will discuss topics related to the Korean won stablecoin with the attendees.

Previously, the Central Bank of Korea took a cautious stance on the issuance of Korean won stablecoins by non-bank institutions, considering the effectiveness of monetary policy and financial stability.
