Odaily News According to official news, the BTFS protocol v4.0 test version has officially launched. This upgrade is based on the BTIP-89/90/91 proposals, focusing on the transformation of storage service providers to dedicated nodes, unifying the hosting of file metadata through smart contracts, and adopting on-chain governance to achieve distributed decision-making, among other key innovations. This upgrade will enhance the network's reliability, transparency, and level of decentralization. This version is for testing purposes only, and developers can participate in technical verification based on their needs; stay tuned for the mainnet version.
