Ethereum founder Buterin proposed three standards for decentralization testing.

Gate News bot reported that, according to CoinDesk, at the Ethereum Community Conference held in France, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin released three criteria for assessing the degree of Decentralization.

The first item is the "walk-away test," used to examine the user's control over assets after the project team disappears; the second item, the "insider attack test," assesses the damage when internal personnel commit malicious acts or when the front end is attacked; the third item, "trusted computing base," focuses on the minimum amount of code required to ensure the security of user funds and data.

Buterin emphasized that Ethereum is currently at a critical turning point, and if decentralization remains at the slogan level, it will become an empty promise and be eliminated by the times.
