Trump announced the imposition of the so-called "reciprocal tariffs" on April 2, triggering a big dump in the U.S. financial markets. Under pressure from longer positions, Trump also announced on April 9 to defer the high "reciprocal tariffs" on some trade partners for 90 days, but maintained the 10% Benchmark tariff.
