Strategist: If the White House implements aggressive tariffs, market fluctuations may intensify in the short term.

On July 12, Jin10 reported that Anthony Saglimbene, Chief Market Strategist at Ameriprise Financial, stated that as the U.S. government is expected to reach agreements with trade partners like Japan and South Korea in the coming weeks, most investors seem to expect the U.S. to avoid raising tariffs. "This is the expectation that the market has already formed," Saglimbene said. "If we do not get such a result, then I believe that if the White House really implements some aggressive tariff measures, market fluctuations may intensify in the short term."
