The German government lost 3 billion dollars in profit after selling Bitcoin.

The German government has missed out on approximately 3 billion USD in profits after selling nearly 50,000 Bitcoin in July last year at a price of 57,900 USD each. Currently, the price of Bitcoin has surpassed 120,000 USD. The sale of 49,858 Bitcoin from June 19 to July 12 generated around 2.8 billion USD from assets seized in the "Movie2k" case. According to the current market price, this amount of Bitcoin would be worth approximately 6 billion USD.

Meanwhile, the US government has auctioned over 195,000 Bitcoin in the past 10 years for a total of 366 million USD. According to the Security Director of Casa, this amount of Bitcoin is now worth over 23 billion USD. Currently, the US government holds more than 198,000 BTC valued at nearly 24 billion USD.
