CME clarifies: No official decision has been made on launching XRP and SOL futures contracts yet

BlockBeats news, on January 23rd, FOX reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that CME spokesperson clarified that the information on its Beta website was mistakenly published and has been removed. CME has not made any official decisions regarding the launch of XRP and SOL futures contracts. As previously reported by BlockBeats and Cointelegraph, the CME website showed that XRP and SOL futures contracts are planned to be launched as early as February 10, 2025, pending regulatory approval. According to the information on the website, the standard SOL contract size is 500 SOL, and the mini contract size is 25 SOL; the standard XRP contract size is 50,000 XRP, and the mini contract size is 2,500 XRP. All contracts are settled in US dollars.
