The first trading day of the Year of the Snake in the Hong Kong stock market closed, with the Hang Seng Index falling by 0.04%, the Heng Seng Tech Index rising by 0.29% at midday; the AI concept stock Kingsoft Cloud (03896.HK) rose against the market all day, closing with a big pump of 31%, while SMIC (00981.HK) rose by 10%.
