Jinshi data, February 4th, French Societe Generale Bank's chief forex strategist Kit Juckes said that if countries reach a protocol with the United States on tariff issues, the dollar may experience a 'small pullback', but due to the US economy still being better than the rest of the world, the dollar will remain strong. He said that he expects the Bloomberg dollar spot index to further pump and may approach the peak reached in September 2022. 'Once we find that the news is not as unfavorable to the world and favorable to the dollar as we imagined, as is the case today, it will bring a small pullback, and then we wait for the next news,' he said. 'We may see the dollar index continue to fluctuate in a very high range... I can't buy the dollar in large quantities because it's really expensive,' he said. 'People will sell the euro at high levels,' he said, and the euro may fall to parity or even weaker, 'the fundamental reason is the continuous strength of the dollar'.
