Deloitte's "4 trillion dollars" estimate in the field of tokenization

According to Deloitte's new report, the real estate tokenization market, currently under 300 billion dollars, could reach 4 trillion dollars by 2035 with an average annual growth rate of 27 percent.

Tokenization encompasses the conversion of credit, funds, and land ownership into tokens recorded on the blockchain. The report outlines growth expectations in three main segments:

Tokenize Debt Securities: It is projected to reach 2 trillion 390 billion dollars in 2035, taking the lead.

Private Real Estate Funds: Could generate approximately $1 trillion in volume.

Construction Stage or Undeveloped Lands: It could exceed 500 billion dollars.

In contrast, the lack of a clear regulatory framework, factors such as asset custody (custody) and cybersecurity are listed as the main obstacles facing the industry. According to Deloitte, as these issues are resolved, real estate tokenization may become a key financing and trading instrument in private equity markets.
