Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett made important statements on her social media account following the postponement of many Spot ETFs that occurred today. Terrett shared details about the current process after her conversation with ETF expert James Seyffart.

According to Terrett, the dates announced today do not represent final decisions. Seyffart noted that the final decisions regarding the applications for ETP (Exchange-Traded Product) for many cryptocurrencies are expected to be made in the fourth quarter of 2025, particularly in October. The $XRP Spot ETF application stands out with a critical date around October 18.

Seyffart also reminded that the SEC has postponed today's Ethereum Staking and Dogecoin ETF applications, stating that similar delays are expected in the Solana and Hedera (HBAR) ETF applications within this week. Seyffart, who stated that this process is completely normal, noted that the final deadline for most applications is October 2025 or later.

Terrett highlighted the flexibility of the process with the statement, "June 17 is not a definitive decision date. The SEC can make a decision by that date if it wishes, but technically they have time until October."
