The Crypto Assets custody company BitGo has obtained a MiCA license in Germany.

According to Mars Finance, BitGo, a cryptocurrency custody company supported by Goldman Sachs, has become the latest cryptocurrency company to receive regulatory approval to operate in the EU. The company announced on May 12 that the German financial regulator, Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), granted BitGo Europe a regulatory license for the crypto asset market (MiCA ) to provide digital asset services within the EU. The new license allows BitGo to offer services to crypto-native companies and TradFi, including banks and asset management firms within the EU.
