An American tourist claimed that a fake Uber driver stole his cryptocurrency worth 123,000 dollars after he went out in London.

According to local news agency MyLondon, an American tourist claimed that he was kidnapped and drugged by a fake Uber driver in London, and that his Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP worth 123,000 dollars were stolen.

According to the report, the US tourist, who was having fun at a nightclub in London, booked an Uber to return home, but instead of the vehicle shown in the Uber app, he got into the vehicle of the fake Uber driver.

Later, the American tourist claimed that after getting into the car of a fake Uber driver, he was given a cigarette, which contained drugs, that he was drugged thanks to the cigarette, kidnapped, and that BTC and XRP were stolen from his account.

According to the tourist, the fake Uber driver stole $72,000 worth of XRP and $50,000 worth of Bitcoin from his crypto account.

The incident has been reported to the police, but no one has been caught yet.
