Mexican billionaire businessman Ricardo Salinas stated that Bitcoin has become a global reserve asset and will soon surpass gold's market capitalization of 16 trillion dollars. Salinas argued that Bitcoin will reach gold's total value by gaining approximately 8 times its current level.

In a speech, Salinas made notable statements, saying, "Bitcoin is a new global reserve asset. It will surpass gold. This is the most important message to take away from this talk."

As of today, Salinas stated that Bitcoin is trading at approximately 105,000 dollars, and reminded that the total value of the 20 million Bitcoins in circulation is around 2 trillion dollars. In contrast, Salinas mentioned that the total market capitalization of gold is about 16 trillion dollars, indicating that Bitcoin needs to increase its value eightfold to reach this level.

"I have no doubt that this will happen very soon," said Salinas, although he did not give a specific date, he argued that the trend is clear: "The value of gold against Bitcoin is continuously decreasing. This trend is clearly visible."
