According to sources close to the subject, the bank has collaborated with the technology unit of the Austrian crypto exchange Bitpanda to develop this service.

Deutsche Bank's corporate banking unit continues its collaboration with Swiss-based technology provider Taurus SA to implement its custody service plans, which were first announced in 2022.

The bank aims to create a comprehensive digital asset custody solution for institutional clients by leveraging both Taurus's infrastructure and Bitpanda Technology Solutions' integration services.

This step shows that interest in crypto has increased in the traditional financial world and that large banks are accelerating their infrastructure investments to meet the demands in this area.

Deutsche Bank plans to create an institutional-level platform that will ensure the secure storage of digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities in line with its 2026 targets.
