According to reports, a developer disguised as a Web3 tool author provided a script tool that allegedly scans local sensitive files in the background, intending to steal Private Key, Wallet files, configuration files, code, mnemonic phrase, and other critical data. This data is secretly uploaded to an anonymous server, and the entire process is almost undetectable by the user. Users are advised to avoid using unfamiliar script tools.
