The Salvadoran government denies continuing to purchase Bitcoin. IMF monitors Wallet Address.

[Golden Finance] According to reports, the Minister of Finance of El Salvador and the President of the Central Bank confirmed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that since signing the financing agreement in February 2025, the government has not purchased Bitcoin, and the existing number of Bitcoins remains unchanged. The related wallet addresses have been provided to the IMF for monitoring.

This statement contradicts President Booker's public declaration of "buying 1 Bitcoin daily." The IMF states that the growth in Bitcoin balance merely reflects internal consolidation and does not violate the financing agreement.
