The Four-Step Rule for Strategic Positioning and Narrative Construction of Web3 Projects

Recently, an event focused on the construction of underlying narratives in the encryption field was held in Singapore. During the event, an industry expert delivered an excellent speech on the theme of "The Top Narrative of Crypto," exploring in depth the strategic positioning and differentiation construction methods of Web3 projects.

Experts point out that Web3 projects can build a strategic layer through four steps: first, analyze the market environment and determine a unique positioning; second, clarify brand positioning and avoid strong areas of competitors; third, provide reliable endorsements for the brand to enhance user identification; and finally, integrate the positioning concept into all aspects of enterprise operations.

In terms of differentiation strategy, experts suggest that projects can highlight their differences from competitors by focusing on multiple aspects such as performance, customization, risk control, status symbol, innovation, and price advantage. At the same time, he emphasizes that projects should start from product attributes to construct a complete narrative chain through multiple levels including benefits, psychological value, and values.

The expert also emphasized that in order for the narrative to evolve into a sustained movement, it must undergo two key phases: "unfreezing" and "refreezing." During the unfreezing process, audience emotions such as pride, camaraderie, and a sense of unity can be stimulated by finding resonant reasons and shaping a common adversary, while community building enhances the sense of belonging. In the refreezing phase, projects need to guide the audience in forming new, sustainable behavior patterns and convey core values through the narrative.

This two-day event gathered top projects and well-known investors that have recently achieved significant growth, focusing on in-depth discussions around core topics such as personal brand building, marketing strategies, community culture construction, user acquisition and retention, aiming to stimulate collective wisdom and jointly explore the essence of marketing.
