Dubai plans to build a 17-story 'Cryptotower', which is expected to be completed by 2027. Tokyo, Japan will also welcome a luxury hotel themed around BTC in the third quarter of 2025. Who knows, the world may have a chance to become a crypto version of Cyberpunk in the future.

Dubai Crypto Tower to be completed in 2027, technology combined with future life

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and real estate investment trust developer REIT Development have announced that the Crypto Tower will be completed in the first quarter of 2027, becoming a physical showcase for blockchain and crypto technology.

Main facilities:

9 office floors are provided for use by crypto startups.

3 floors are provided for use by blockchain incubators.

A dedicated floor for AI innovation.

Featuring a cryptocurrency club and NFT art gallery.

Core concept:

DMCC Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem said that the building will use blockchain technology to handle tenant interactions and transactions, reflecting the transparency and ownership concepts of Web3.

Currently, DMCC operates a crypto center in Uptown Tower, providing services such as licensing application and regulatory support for blockchain and cryptocurrency companies.

Tokyo BTC hotel opened this year, creating a base for the crypto community

Tokyo, Japan is set to welcome its first BTC luxury hotel in the third quarter of 2025, operated by the Japanese version of MicroStrategy, Metaplanet, with the goal of promoting the application and education of BTC.

Facility Highlights:

The hotel features a Bitcoin gallery, art museum, and shared workspace, designed to provide a conducive environment for the crypto community.

Future plans:

London-based investment firm IKAR Holdings also plans to launch a BTC hotel chain brand and is considering acquiring casino hotels in Portugal and Cyprus to join the project.

Metaplanet CEO promotes BTC luxury hotels on Twitter, other crypto projects include smart cities, exclusive islands, creating a Praxis of unregulated crypto and AI communities.

Praxis, a self-proclaimed "cyber nation," received $525 million in funding last October to build a deregulated city dedicated to attracting crypto and AI professionals.
