ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood noted that the company's reports' long-term bullish scenario of $1.5 million by 2030 for the Bitcoin price has become more likely following the latest developments.

Cathie Wood, speaking in a video published on February 11, said, "Many people know us for the $1.5 million upward scenario we set for Bitcoin" and added:

We actually think the likelihood of this figure being correct is increasing as we witness the institutionalization of this new asset class.

Not a dream for Bitcoin

According to Cathie Wood, many institutional investors are now considering including Bitcoin in their portfolios. The most important reason for this is that Bitcoin's return and risk profile are very different from other asset classes. Institutional investors who are not satisfied with the performance of traditional investment instruments have begun to realize that Bitcoin could be a great store of value in the long term.
