U.S. law firm issues warning regarding Metaplex's unclaimed SOL disposal plan

According to Gate.io News bot, as reported by Wu, the American law firm Burwick Law has issued an open letter to the Solana NFT platform Metaplex, providing legal warnings regarding its plan to transfer unclaimed SOL tokens into the DAO treasury.

Data shows that there are currently over 54,000 SOL (approximately $7.3 million) that have not been claimed. Burwick Law suggested in the letter that Metaplex suspend the program and proposed to refund 90% of the funds to NFT holders, keeping only 10% as network maintenance fees.

According to the original plan of Metaplex, after the deadline on April 25, the platform will automatically transfer the excess SOL from the NFT accounts that have not executed the "adjustment optimization" to its DAO.
