According to BlockBeats, on April 30, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett revealed that over 300 industry participants in the crypto space signed a petition initiated by the DeFi advocacy group, the DeFi Education Fund, including Tyler and Cameron Winkelvoss. The petition calls for the Trump administration to terminate the illegal prosecution of Open Source software developers in the U.S., urging White House crypto assets and artificial intelligence director David Sacks to defend software developers facing scrutiny from the Department of Justice.
