Trump Launches Fourth Series of NFTs: Bitcoin Elements Enhance the Trap Package Up to 24,750 USD
Trump Launches Fourth Series of NFTs: Bitcoin Elements Featured, Premium Package Priced at 24750 USD
Less than a month ago, Trump brand sneakers sold out, and now he has launched the fourth series of NFT works.
On the evening of August 27, 2024, Republican candidate Trump announced a new round of NFT project on his social platform: "Trump Digital Trading Cards, Series Four: America First." This promotional event is quite attractive, as users who purchase more than 75 NFTs (worth $7425) will have the opportunity to have dinner with Trump and also receive limited edition sneakers among other benefits.
Although the income from NFT sales does not count towards Trump's political fundraising, the pressure on his campaign funds still exists. In July, Trump's fundraising was far lower than his opponent's, only a quarter of the latter. By the end of July, Trump's campaign team also lagged behind his opponent in cash reserves. Therefore, this NFT release is of great significance for Trump, not only to generate momentum but also to attract cryptocurrency supporters. In the promotional video for the new NFT, Trump once again emphasized that he is the "crypto president."
New NFT Series Highlights: Bitcoin Elements and Rich Rewards
This "Fourth Series: America First" digital trading card has a total of 50 styles, themed around Trump's image, including his dance poses and photos of him holding Bitcoin, among others. These NFTs will be issued on the Polygon network, with an expected total quantity of up to 360,000 cards.
The official website offers multiple purchase options. A single NFT is priced at $99, and a maximum of 4 can be purchased. Buying 5 will grant you a pair of golden sneakers from the Trump brand, with the first 1000 pairs being numbered. Higher tier packages include:
Purchase 15 NFTs ($1485): You will receive rewards including a piece of the suit worn by Trump during the debate (limited to 2024 pieces, some signed), a pair of platinum gray high-top sneakers, and two pairs of gold low-top sneakers.
Purchase 75 NFTs ($7425): Gain the opportunity to have dinner with Trump in Florida, as well as limited edition sneakers and other rewards.
Purchase 250 NFTs ($24,750): You will receive two VIP dinner tickets, enjoy cocktails with Trump before the dinner, as well as a pair of sneakers and 25 unique Bitcoin inscription NFTs.
Trump stated in a promotional video: "At the request of the public, I am launching a new series of Trump digital trading cards. Everyone knows what this is, and we are having a lot of fun. Many people call me the cryptocurrency president, and I'm not sure if that's true, but I've certainly heard that a lot."
It is worth noting that while NFT sales have brought significant income to Trump, this revenue goes into personal accounts and is unrelated to political fundraising. Recent financial information disclosed by Trump shows that his NFT business has contributed over $1 million in cryptocurrency income.
The performance of NFTs in previous rounds has been poor, and Trump is intensifying his campaign efforts.
As of August 28, the floor prices of Trump's first three rounds of NFT series have all decreased. The first series fell by 35.86% within 30 days, the second series fell by 37.48%, and the third series fell by 24.57%.
Nonetheless, Trump is still actively preparing for the election. He confirmed that he will participate in the presidential debate on September 10, which will be hosted by ABC. Trump also plans to appoint two key figures as co-chairs of his transition team to enhance his appeal to voters.
Since the current president withdrew from this year's election, Trump's lead in the polls has been overtaken by his opponents. He urgently needs to create momentum for himself through various means to attract more financial support.
According to reports, Trump's campaign has significantly decreased compared to 2016 and 2020, especially after the shooting incident. Some supporters have questioned his election strategy, worrying about the lack of a clear campaign platform and strong actions. However, Trump's campaign team has stated that they are prepared for the final push in November.
