BlockBeats news, on August 15, reported by Crowdfundinsider, Scottish whisky manufacturer Bowmore will issue tokenized limited edition whisky on the Avalanche blockchain, with the first "Collector's Edition" priced at $5,500, and each bottle of whisky will be tied to an NFT. This whisky will debut at TOKEN2049 in Singapore on September 30, 2025, when the NFT can be exchanged for the physical product. Bowmore is part of the Suntory Global Spirits Group and is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland. This marks the brand's first foray into real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, providing collectors with new interactive ways.
