Gold Finance reported that Cipher MiningInc. (NASDAQ:CIFR) has announced that it has completed a transaction to acquire a new power plant called Stingray in West Texas for $4.1 million in cash and initial five years of $1.5 per megawatt-hour floating fee after the power plant is energized. The 250-acre site has been approved and a facility expansion of up to 100 megawatts has been signed protokol.
