The Ethereum developers are expected to make a decision on this at the next Ethereum core developer conference call on September 19th. Christine Kim said that due to the complexity of the current Pectra fork and more requirements for the upgrade, there is a high possibility of splitting it into two separate upgrades (Prague upgrade and Electra upgrade).
